non-exclusive license
In the context of copyright licensing, a license that grants certain permissions without excluding the possibility of granting the same permissions to another party.
For example, an author might grant a non-exclusive license to an online vendor to sell the author's book. This would not exclude the possibility that the author might grant the same permission to another vendor.
Or, the author might obtain a non-exclusive license to use a stock image for their cover design, and this would not exclude the possibility of another author obtaining permission to use the same image.
